The Ritchie Omni 2 is a compact yet higher-capacity automatic waterer designed for livestock operations that need dependable performance in a smaller footprint. Built with a fully insulated polyethylene body and a 304 stainless steel trough, the Omni 2 combines durability, energy efficiency, and consistent frost-free operation.
The Omni 2 is part of Ritchie’s OmniFount series, which blends the strength of stainless steel troughs with the efficiency of insulated poly construction, creating a highly reliable and long-lasting watering solution. Its thermostatically controlled heating elements are mounted directly beneath the stainless steel trough, delivering even heat distribution and preventing freezing in extreme winter conditions.
With a fast refill valve system, the Omni 2 provides continuous fresh water for up to 40 head of cattle or horses, making it ideal for small to mid-size herd applications.
Designed for ease of use, the Omni 2 includes a large access panel for quick maintenance and service, ensuring minimal downtime and long-term reliability.

I love my Ritchie Omni 2! This winter in Northern MN has been incredibly cold with temps in the -40°F! This heated watered supplies 4 horses with all the perfectly warmed fresh water they need. They all took to drinking out of the new water tank that day or the next. Even my 16yo mare took to drinking from the waterer within couple days. I recommend this waterer. It gives me such a sense of security knowing I don’t have to haul water when it’s in the negative temps.
We already had one of same ordered several years ago. So when the other, old drinker was beyond repair, we ordered another like the first. GREAT service PROMPT. Hopefully we won’t need another any time soon. Thank you. Nice doing business with you.
