Winter Weather Shipping Information

We understand that most automatic waterers choose the worst day in the winter to breakdown and your parts are needed immediately.

During winter storms, we will do our best to package and prepare your shipment as quickly as possible and provide your tracking number once your product has been packaged. Most parts will be shipped the same or next business day depending on when your order was placed.

During severe weather, we cannot guarantee shipping times as weather may impact the ability of delivery services to safely deliver packages. Please use your provided tracking number for updates.  

Should you choose to expedite your shipment, we will not guarantee shipping times and no refund will be provided if delayed due to weather.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated during these times. 

Shipping and Handling Policy

Some items cannot be shipped via UPS, due to size, weight and hazardous materials restrictions. Some items may also have additional hazardous-materials charges or oversize charges. Shipping and handling rates are subject to change without notice. Additional charges may apply for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.  

We strive to ensure shipping charges are as accurate as possible, but in some cases, these charges may be calculated incorrectly on our website. We will do our best to capture these variances and address each one as they arrive.

PeteCo Supply utilizes fourteen warehouses across the United States.  We do our best to ship from the warehouse nearest you to ensure speedy delivery of your product.  In some cases, you may receive your order in several packages and we will do our best to notify should this happen and provide you with all tracking information.  We welcome you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your shipment, transit times or shipping methods. 

 

Oversize Products

Products that exceed UPS and FedEx shipping capability will be shipped freight.  We will contact you with the most cost-effective freight quote once the order is placed.  The freight cost will be charged separately.   Need a freight quote prior to ordering? Lift-gate service - Lift-gate service is available if you do not have the equipment to remove the pallet from the truck.  Equipment does not include offloading by hand.  When asking for a freight quote, should lift-gate service be indicated as not needed at the time of the quote, however needed at the time of delivery, you may be charged an additional lift-gate charge.  

 

Freight Deliveries - Once your freight item ships, PeteCo Supply will provide you with detailed shipping instructions including a pro number and freight company.   Tracking information can be found manually by visiting the freight company website.  Most freight companies will contact you for delivery arrangement prior to delivery. 

 

When will my order ship?

Orders that are able to ship via UPS or FedEx will be shipped the same day or next business day, depending on when the order was placed.  Unless noted on the order, if your product is on backorder, you will be notified and your order will ship once the product is in stock.  We strive to ship your product as quickly and as efficiently as possible. 

 

Where do you ship?

At this time, we ship within the United States only.  

 

Package did not arrive or Missing Package

Missing package claims must be made within 10 days of shown delivery date.  No exceptions.  This allows the shipping company to address the missing package immediately and without delay.  PeteCo Supply will work with the coordinating shipping companies to locate your product.  Replacements or additional shipping will not be sent until ample time has been given to track the package.  Any claims outside of the 10-day period are the responsibility of the customer.  

 

Shipping costs on small items

We understand that there are times where a small replacement part is needed which is why we do not require a minimum order cost. We also understand that these items do not weigh much or require a large package. However, these orders do require packaging, manpower, time and more to ship.  Shipping costs will not be reduced to accommodate the minimum or small parts orders.  

 

Delivery Instructions or special requests

We understand the benefit of having packages delivered to a specific location on your property. While we will do our best to ensure the delivery service you selected has your requested information, we cannot guarantee that the delivery service will follow through.  Please be aware that our small shop does not control UPS, USPS, FEDEX, freight companies or their employees.   Should the delivery service deliver your package to the address provided but not to your specified location, PeteCo Supply will not discount or refund your order or shipping cost. 

 

Transit times

Transit times are provided at check out and provide an estimate of delivery time directly from the shipping company.  PeteCo Supply will ship your product as quickly as possible however, we are unable to guarantee delivery times set by your selected shipping company.  Unexpected delays, weather, employee strikes, vehicle difficulty, lost packages and more while in the hands of the shipping company, may impact the delivery time.  No discount or shipping refund will be provided should your package be delayed once shipped.
