Description
The elbow that carries water from the valve down into the standpipe on a Tusker waterer, part 525. One of two sizes Tusker uses for this job — the other is part 526 — so check which one came out of your unit before ordering.
Where it sits in the waterer. The 4 inch standpipe carries the supply line up inside it, and this elbow is the fitting that turns that line into the valve. It is a small part doing a structural job: if it cracks or the thread goes, the valve has nothing solid to feed from.
Two sizes, and they do not interchange
Tusker lists this elbow in two sizes, 525 and 526. They look alike in a parts drawer and only one will thread correctly into your standpipe and valve. If the old one is still in your hand, match it before ordering; if it is not, send us your waterer model and we will tell you which size that unit takes.
