Ritchie Standpipe Nut and Washer Package #18797

The threaded nut and washer hardware that holds a Ritchie standpipe down through the floor of the trough. It is the piece you want when the standpipe itself is sound but the hardware around it has been taken off and on a few too many times, or has gone missing during a rebuild.

What Ritchie calls this part. Ritchie's own parts listing gives 18797 as the standpipe nut, with no mention of a washer. Worth knowing, because the unit breakdown you are working from will say nut, and this package is what that line number ships as.

18797 or 18324? They are not the same package

These two sit next to each other on the breakdown and get ordered for each other constantly.

• 18797, this package, is the nut and washer hardware.
• 18324 is washers only, four to a package.

If the nut is rounded off, stripped or simply not there any more, 18797 is the one. If the nut is fine and you are only after fresh washers, order the 18324 and save the difference.

Which standpipe does it go on?

This hardware is for the large standpipes. Ritchie splits the standpipe itself by unit size:

• 16629, the package for the large OmniFounts
• 18181, the CattleMaster standpipe assembly
• 16866 covers the small OmniFounts and the AC units, which is a different size of hardware
