Hoskins 2B1000 heater
A thousand watts across a pair of elements on 120 volts. This is the heat package for the four CH combination units, which keep a cattle drinker and a hog drinker open from one tank and so carry twice the element of a plain 28 or 36 in. cattle tank.
Supplied as a pair
A thousand watts is two 500 watt elements, which is why Hoskins writes it as 2B1000 on the price list. Both come in the package.

Before winter, not during it
An element that has failed is only found out when the water is already freezing. Check it in the autumn: power on, element warm, thermostat cycling, and the ground tested. It is a short job in October and a miserable one in January.
