Brower S218 18" Galvanized Slide Top Poultry Feeder, 22 Hole - Case of 12

A full case of twelve Brower S218 slide top feeders. Each one is 18 inches long, galvanized steel from end to end, and opens with a lid that slides straight off the trough — no catches, no clips, nothing to unscrew when your hands are full.

Twenty-two separate feed hole openings run the length of the trough, which spreads the flock out along the feeder instead of letting a few birds stand over the feed. The trough wall is 1 3/4 in. high and the feeder holds about a pound of feed, enough trough space for roughly twenty birds. Because the whole feeder is galvanized steel, it works equally well as a water trough for chicks and young birds.

Buying by the case is the inexpensive way to outfit a brooder house or a row of pens for a new season of chicks, and it keeps clean spares on the shelf while one set is being washed.
