Replacement Old style Drain Plug for Ritchie Cattle Waterers - Used in the Ritchie CattleMaster series units this drain plug features a stainless steel nut and bolt.

What Ritchie says about this plug. Ritchie catalogs the 18338 as a 2 x 2 ribbed silicone drain plug used in CattleMaster series units, supplied with a stainless steel nut and bolt.

The ribs and the hardware work together: the nut and bolt draw the silicone up so the ribs seat in the drain opening. Keep the hardware with the plug, because the plug does not seal on its own.

CattleMaster drains changed in 2019

Ritchie states that the 2 inch plug package 18849 is used on new drain style CattleMaster units built in 2019 and later. If your CattleMaster is a 2019 or newer build, check the 18849 before ordering a ribbed silicone plug.

If the drain body itself is damaged rather than just the plug, the 18852 CattleMaster drain assembly replaces the drain, washer, nut and plug together.
