Miraco 451 Float assembly for Miraco automatic waterers

The Miraco 451 is the complete float assembly for the MiraFount 3330 and the heated E-Fount 3330E, the single hole units that sit at the fence line of a small pen or a horse paddock. One valve, one float, one drinking hole.

What is in the assembly

• 342 nylon ratchet
• 343 brass thumbscrew
• 345 bob float, 4 x 4 in.
• 932 float arm, stainless steel

Every metal part in the assembly is stainless steel apart from the brass thumbscrew, so nothing in it rusts in constant water.

A single hole unit leaves less room for error

• The 3330 holds a small volume, so the water is turned over quickly and the valve cycles on almost every drink rather than once a whole group has been through.
• In a small trough the drinking depth is set almost entirely by the float. Half an inch of error nobody would notice on a four hole unit is a large share of the usable depth here.
• Set the level, run a couple of fills through it, then check again. The first fill after an adjustment is always the honest one.
