These waterers are built at the factory as they are ordered, so plan on two to three weeks from the time the order goes in.
A heated steel drinker for hogs, built to sit in a fence line so one unit waters a pen on each side. Up to 150 head off a single water line and a single heater.
The trough and jacket are galvanized steel and the insulation is water resistant polyurethane foam rated at R 7.14 per inch, which is what lets a 500 watt element hold it open without running the bill up. The foam carries no formaldehyde and no chlorofluorocarbons, and rodents leave it alone, which matters more than it sounds like when a unit sits out all winter.
Rugged lids keep the dirt out and the heat in, and the mud grates keep the water clean when the pen gets worked up.

Built for a Barn That Fights Back
Hogs are hard on equipment, so this one is heavy gauge steel rather than poly, with stainless steel where their mouths actually land. The heater keeps it open through winter, the valve compartment opens wide enough to work in with cold hands, and one drinker handles up to 150 hogs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose steel over a poly drinker?
Why choose steel over a poly drinker?
Hogs are hard on equipment. Steel takes chewing, rubbing and general abuse that will eventually crack a plastic body. If you have replaced poly drinkers before, the MC32E is built to outlast them. The trade off is weight and price.
How much does the heater cost to run?
How much does the heater cost to run?
It runs on a thermostat rather than continuously, so it only draws power when the temperature calls for it. Running cost through a winter is far lower than most producers assume.
What is the difference between the MC32E and MC32N?
What is the difference between the MC32E and MC32N?
Same drinker. The E is heated for winter use, the N is not. If your barn drops below freezing, buy the E. If it stays above, the N saves you the cost of the heater and the power.
Can I add heat to an MC32N later?
Can I add heat to an MC32N later?
Yes, in most cases. The 77Assy space heater fits the MC and MJ metal drinkers. Email us with your model and we will confirm the right part before you order.
