Description
The rubber cork that stops the drain on a Brower MK series waterer. Solid rubber, no metal in it to rust.
Corks are a wear part. Sun and cold work on the rubber until it hardens and takes a set, and once it does not squeeze back against the drain it starts seeping. If the trough is going down overnight and the valve is shutting off properly, the cork is where to look first.
Cheap enough to keep a spare in the shop, which saves a trip when you find the problem on a Sunday.
