Description
Replacement drain plug for Ritchie automatic waterers, such as the older metal units and the current OmniFount series. These rubber plugs are designed to seal the drain opening in your trough, helping keep water where it belongs while still making it easy to drain and clean when needed.
What Ritchie says about this plug. Ritchie describes the 18628 as being made to seal the trough at the drain pipe location and to come back out for easy cleaning. Each package holds two black rubber plugs, so you have a spare on hand the next time you drain the unit.

The plug seals against the drain pipe, not against the trough wall, so the matching drain pipe matters as much as the plug. The small Omni units use drain pipe 11471, the Omni 3 and 3E use 11472, and the Omni 5, 10 and 5E use 11473. Every one of those pipes seals with the 18075 drain washers, which are sold separately.
