Description
The Ritchie Waterer Junction box adapter package is used in all modern Ritchie automatic waterer that feature a stainless steel trough. The junction box mounts to the underside of the waterer and contains the electrical connections to the heaters and thermostat. This junction box can be found in the Omni and Cattlemaster series units.
What Ritchie calls this part. Ritchie’s own parts listing gives 18705 as: Junction Box, poly, and Adapter Bracket package. That wording is worth knowing, because it is how the part appears on the unit breakdown you are working from.
The electrical pair. Ritchie lists 18705 as the poly junction box with its adapter bracket and 18706 as the 18/3 power cord for 120 volt units. Replacing one often means handling the other, so it is worth checking both while the panel is off.
We have not tied the 18705 to a unit breakdown on our site yet, so rather than guess at a fitment we will say plainly that the part number is the thing to match.
