Swatting is the easy part. What nobody enjoys is the paper towel, the cupped hand, or giving up and leaving it on the floor. The Swat-N-Scoop handles both halves of the job in one motion: the perforated face does the swatting, and the bottom edge of the head is molded into an open scoop. Tip it, slide it under, and the bug comes up off the floor, the windowsill or the counter and goes straight out the door.

It works just as well on something you would rather not hit. A spider, a stink bug or a wasp can be scooped up alive and walked outside at arm's length, which is what the 18 inch handle is for — that and reaching a ceiling corner without dragging a chair over.
