The 10 drink is built at the factory once the order goes in, so plan on extra time before it ships.
The 91501010 is the largest hog bar Smidley builds, ten drink spaces with five on each side, so one unit and one water line cover a fence run with pens on both sides. At 57 1/4 inches long it waters up to 250 head, which is the point where two smaller bars and two sets of plumbing stop making sense.
Everything that makes the smaller bars last is here at a longer length. The body is 100 percent 304 stainless steel in a heavy 14 gauge, with heavier 12 gauge drink lids, so there is no paint to chip and no galvanizing to wear through at the water line. Thick styrofoam insulation rated at a 2.7 R factor runs the length of the body, and electric heat with a self regulating thermostat comes standard from the factory, so the element tops up the heat the insulation is already holding rather than fighting the cold on its own.
The drink lids are what keep the water clean. Feed and bedding stay out, the pigs push the lid open to drink, and what is underneath stays clear. The top cover lifts off by gravity, so washing a bar this size is still a bucket and a few minutes rather than a job with a wrench.
