Description

The Double-Tuf DT9878 poultry waterer from Miller Manufacturing, holding 2.5 gallons, or 10 liters. It is the bigger of the two sizes in this style, so a flock gets through a hot day without you refilling at noon.

The removable legs are what set it apart. On the legs, the base rides up off the bedding and the birds cannot scratch dirt and litter into the water. Snap them off and it sits flat for younger birds, then put them back as the flock grows. The jug is molded translucent plastic, so a look tells you the level without lifting the lid, and there is a handle attached to the top.

How to fill it

Snap the legs onto the base
Turn the jug upside down and fill it with water
Twist the base onto the jug
Flip the unit over quickly to avoid spills

Awesome product/ fast shipping

First and foremost the shipping was extremely fast! The quality is very good and the legs fit into place securely. I mean, it's a chicken waterer..... what more do you need. If you are like I was looking for one with legs, this is a great choice. 2.5 gal is enough water for my hens I change it daily anyway.
