A galvanized steel hanging poultry waterer from Miller Manufacturing, 1 pint. The built in hooks let it hang clear of the floor, which is the whole point of this style. Water that sits at floor level gets scratched full of bedding and tipped over, and a hanging fount avoids both while freeing up space in a small hutch or coop.

It works on gravity feed, so there is nothing to adjust and nothing to go wrong. Fill it, hang it, and it holds the trough level as the birds drink. The galvanized steel takes rough handling better than plastic, and the edges are rolled so there is nothing sharp for you or the birds.

A pint is sized for a small flock of adult birds. Economical enough to hang two or three around a run rather than making the flock share one.
