Description

A three gallon poultry fount with a deep base, which is the version built for adult birds rather than chicks. The depth is the point. More water sitting in the base means fewer trips out to top it up on a hot afternoon.

The handy part is the filling. The base stays on the jug while you fill it from the bottom, so you are not wrestling two pieces apart and slopping water across the coop floor every morning. A plastic stopper with an o ring seals the bottom and keeps it from leaking once it is upright again.

A carrying handle on top makes a full three gallons a one handed trip out to the run. It is best suited to adult birds.
