These waterers are built at the factory as they are ordered, so plan on two to three weeks from the time the order goes in.
The Brower Model 7GF, 7 Gallon Poly Poultry Fountain has a 4.5 inch opening making the waterer easy to fill and permits cleaning on the inside of the tank. The seamless poly tank will not leak or allow pathogens to hide. The trough can be removed from the tank to further assist in cleaning.
The two built-in handles permit the fount to be carried - even when full. The tank is marked in 1 gallon increments for medicating.
Seven Gallons, and Nothing to Rust
A flock does not wait politely for water. The 7GF holds seven gallons of it in a poly body that will not rust out from under you the way a galvanized fount eventually does, and when something finally does wear, you buy that part instead of the whole fount.

Brower 7GF Questions
How many birds will the 7GF water
How many birds will the 7GF water
Seven gallons covers 90 hens, 140 pullets or 140 broilers. If you are running meat birds in summer, size it on the broiler number rather than the hen number, because they drink hard in the heat.
How do I fill it
How do I fill it
From the top. The 4.5 inch opening takes a hose or a bucket without funneling, and it is wide enough to get your hand and a brush inside the tank, which a narrow neck fount will never let you do.
Can I carry it full
Can I carry it full
That is what the two built in handles are for. Most founts this size have to be filled where they sit. This one you can fill at the hydrant and carry to the coop.
How do I medicate with it
How do I medicate with it
The tank is marked in one gallon increments down the side, so you read the mark and dose to it. No measuring into a bucket first and no guessing how much is in there.
How do I clean it
How do I clean it
The trough comes off the tank, so you can get at both separately. The tank is seamless poly, so there are no soldered seams for pathogens to sit in the way there are on a double wall galvanized fount.
Will it freeze
Will it freeze
On its own, yes. For cold weather the trough sits on the AEB automatic electric fount base, 100 watts at 115 volts, which will hold it open into the single digits in a sheltered spot. Do not count on it in the open yard with a wind chill.
What parts can I replace
What parts can I replace
The red base, the poly cap, the cup insert, the fount closure and both o-ring sizes are all stocked here and all shared with the 4GF. A worn part never means a new fount.
What is the difference between the 4GF and the 7GF
What is the difference between the 4GF and the 7GF
Capacity and height, nothing else. The 4GF is 4 gallons at 16 inches tall for 75 pullets or 150 chicks. The 7GF is 7 gallons at 21 5/8 inches for 90 hens. Same 16.5 inch diameter, same trough, same parts.
