These founts are built at the factory as they are ordered, so plan on two to three weeks from the time the order goes in.
The tip over is the one that solves filling. You fill the bucket from any water source you like, a hydrant, a hose, a tank, set the poly base over the top and tip the whole thing upright. No lifting a full fount onto a base and no carrying it level across the yard.
Three and a half gallons covers 75 pullets or 150 chicks. The trough fills quickly at 2 1/4 inches wide and 2 3/8 inches deep, so a flock crowding it at once does not drain it faster than it refills. All poly, so it cannot rust and it cannot leak.
For winter, the trough fits the AEB automatic electric heater base. The base is also sold on its own as the 35PB, and it fits the 5GF as well.
