Description
The Miraco 765 is the complete float and arm assembly for the larger MiraFount and E-Fount units, covering the 3410 hog line, the 3465 and the discontinued 3360. It holds the water at a set height by closing the valve the moment the bob float rises to the level you have set.
What is in the assembly

Every metal part in the assembly is stainless steel apart from the brass thumbscrew, so nothing in it rusts in constant water.
Three materials, three jobs
- Stainless steel arm. The arm spends its whole life half submerged. Stainless does not rust through at the waterline the way plated steel does, and an arm that has rusted thin bends under the float and quietly drifts out of adjustment.
- Brass thumbscrew. Brass turning against stainless will not gall or seize the way a steel screw does. Three winters later you can still break it loose by hand, with cold fingers and no wrench in the truck.
- Nylon ratchet. The toothed nylon gives the arm a positive detent instead of a friction grip, so the height you set is the height it keeps rather than creeping under the constant upward push of the float.
- Bob float, 4 x 4 in. A sealed hollow float sized to give the valve enough lift to close firmly against line pressure, not just rest against it.
Check the arm, not just the float
Most people order a bob float on its own when the waterer stops shutting off, then find the level still will not hold. If the arm is bent, pitted or the hole at the ratchet end has worn oval, the geometry is gone. The complete assembly costs little more than the float by itself and puts every wear point back to new. Each package works with both of Miraco's valves.
