Description
The Miraco LilSpring 3100H is the heated version of the 3100, and the heat is already in it rather than something you order after the first hard freeze. The 290 watt 120 volt package is the Miraco 160 kit, built in two pieces: the 543 immersion heater at 250 watts sitting in the valve chamber, and the 919-5 thermostat controlled cable heater at 40 watts running around the valve and the water supply line. Both are thermostatically controlled and both plug into an outlet under the unit.
Everything else matches the 3100. Eight gallons across a 36 inch open trough for up to 50 dairy or 100 beef, a 22 inch drinking height set for full grown cattle, and a fully insulated double wall poly casing so the heaters are holding a well insulated body instead of fighting the weather on their own.
Set it in a single pasture or straddle a fence line and water two pens, which also saves running power to a second location.
