Description

The 73-V valve is the brass float valve used in the Franklin P-40 and P-80 waterers for swine and poultry. The float rides on the water and shuts the valve off as the level comes up, so the drinking openings refill on their own.

This is the new style valve. It has been updated, but it still fits every older P-40 and P-80, so you do not need to know which version you have.

Low water flow? Remove the screen

If your water flow is low, remove the screen at the end of the valve. That is usually all it takes.
