Description

Ritchie Part 11515 - Securely mount your valve to the side of the valve chamber. Standard Valve Bracket in the following units WaterMatic 100, 150 & 150S, Omni 1 & 2, EcoFount series, Pork Kings, steel Stall Founts Thrifty King CT1 2024+ and Thrifty King for Swine and accommodates all 1/2″ pressure valves.

How far does the valve thread into this bracket?

Hand tight, and no further. The valve is not meant to screw in until the threads disappear, and threads still showing between the valve and the bracket is normal. This is the single most common cause of a cracked bracket.

Hand tighten the valve. Do not use a wrench.

Forcing the valve in, or turning it with a wrench until no threads show, puts the load straight into the bracket and can crack it. There is a red notice on the valve packaging for this reason. A bracket cracked by overtightening is not covered under warranty.

This bracket takes the white 12574, red 12575 and green 13597 valves.
