Warranty

Miraco warrants that its waterers will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for five years from delivery. Miraco valves, valve parts and other parts are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from delivery.

This warranty does not apply to any Miraco unit or part that has been subjected to misuse, or to a material failure to install, operate or maintain it in accordance with Miraco's written instructions.

Description

The Miraco Lilspring 2800 is ideal for a single pasture or paddock for herds up to 20 head. The unit is fully insulated and for added winter protection, the two piece heat package, part 160 is included. The low water waste trough is sloped towards the drain plug for easy cleaning.

The insulated casing of the 2800 horse or cattle waterer will keep the water cooler in the summer and warmer and more energy efficient in the winter. The fast refill valve will supply a constant supply of water to ensure your animals stay happy and hydrated.

Heat package is 290 Watts at 120 volts

The Miraco LilSpring 2800 is a compact single side automatic waterer built for small operations and mixed livestock. Four gallons of insulated, energy free capacity serves up to 20 head of beef cattle or horses, and the 19 inch drinking height keeps bedding out of the trough. Everything opens by hand for cleaning and valve service.

Is the 2800 heated?

The standard unit is insulated and energy free. The heated version adds a 290 watt immersion heater and self regulating heat cable on 120 volts, and in hard climates you should plan on it.

Where does the 2800 work best?

Stalls, small pens, tight paddocks and anywhere a single side waterer can sit against a wall or a fence.

How do I clean it?

Remove the valve chamber cover to lift the float to stop the flow of water. Remove the drain plug to allow water to drain. Scrub and rinse by allowing water to flow again. Replace the drain plug and allow the trough to refill.

What is the difference between the 2800 and the 2900?

The 2800 drinks from one side and holds 4 gallons for up to 20 head. The 2900 drinks from two sides, holds 6 gallons and waters up to 60 head from a fence line.
