Description

The replacement mop for the Franklin Mineral Vane Oiler and Mineral Feeder. Swap it when it is packed with dirt and hair or will no longer hold a charge of oil, because a loaded mop stops carrying oil long before it looks worn out.

Presoak a new mop with your fly control product before the cattle get to it. A dry mop will wick on its own eventually, but the first animals through get nothing.

Fits the Mineral Vane Oiler and Mineral Feeder with base #49001 and without base #49002. This is a different mop from the walk through oiler mop #49012, so check which unit you have before ordering.

Was a decent fit for my oiler tank. Had to cut a hole for the filler. Once the mop was in place on the tank it required sowing the lower side with a sowing machine to make a snug fit.
