Description

Eight gallons in a round feeder with straight sides, and the straight sides are the point. A tapered bucket wants to tip the moment a horse leans into it, while this one sits flat on a stall floor and stays where you put it. It is deep, too, which keeps feed in the feeder instead of under it.

Three steel eyelets are built into the rim, so it hangs in a stall, a run in shed or along a pen rail wherever you need it. Mounting hardware is not included. If you would rather not mount it at all, it works just as well sitting on the ground.

The body is molded from tough polyethylene resin that takes a knock without cracking and holds its shape through hot summers and hard winters. It measures 18.5 inches across and 13.5 inches high. For the ones that still manage to fling feed, the Little Giant Feed Saver Ring, item FS800, fits over the rim and is sold separately.
