Description

A six quart feeder built for foals, and one that ends up feeding goat kids, lambs, calves and the odd farm dog just as often. Red shows up well across a dim barn aisle, which is handy when the feeder moves from pen to pen.

What makes this one easy to live with is the built-in bracket. It hooks over any 2 by board, so it goes up on a stall partition or a pen rail in seconds and lifts right back off when you want to move it or wash it out. If you would rather it stayed put, there are two eyelets molded in for screws, and the screws are not included.

The body is tough DuraFlex plastic, 9.75 inches long by 11 inches wide and 5.5 inches high, holding six quarts, a gallon and a half. Where bigger animals can reach in and help themselves, the Little Giant wire grill, item MF601, fits this feeder and keeps them out. That grill is sold separately.
