Description

A fence feeder gets the feed up off the ground, which is where most of it ends up wasted or trampled. This is the sixteen inch size in black, holding nine quarts of liquid or 7.75 quarts of dry feed, which is enough for a real feeding rather than a handful.

It comes with two heavy duty metal clips that hook straight onto wire fencing. That makes it a portable feeder you can hang in a minute and move just as quickly when the stock move. If you want it to stay put, staple the clips to a wooden rail with fencing staples, or run lag screws through the eyelets, and the screws are not included.

The body is high impact polyethylene, which is what lets it live outside and take being knocked around. It suits horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas and calves, and it measures 15.75 inches long by 8.25 inches wide and 7 inches high. The same feeder is stocked in red if you would rather see it from a distance.
