Description

The API 20FB is a 20 quart heated flat back bucket, and it is built for the kind of winter where a regular bucket is a block of ice by morning. The thermostat holds the water ice free down to 20 below zero, and there is over temperature protection built in so it cannot cook itself.

The flat back and the oversized metal handle let it hang flush against a wall or a fence rail instead of swinging. The body is a resilient plastic chosen to resist cracking in the cold, which is exactly where cheap buckets fail. The 6 foot grounded cord exits out of the bottom of the bucket rather than over the rim, which puts it out of easy reach, and it comes with an anti-chew protector on it besides.

There is a patented compartment in the bottom that holds the cord when you are not heating, so the same bucket works all summer without a cord hanging loose. It suits horses and large dogs equally well.

It draws 115 watts on standard 120 volt household power, it is cULus Listed, and it carries a one year warranty.
