Description
The 30 inch shroud closes in the water line underneath a Classic Equine by Ritchie StallFount. It is the piece that turns an exposed supply line into a finished, protected install.
Two things it does. It keeps the line out of reach, so a bored horse cannot work on it with a hoof or a set of teeth, and the fully insulated wall keeps the line from freezing on a night when the barn drops below zero. On a heated StallFount, that insulation is what keeps the heat where it belongs instead of bleeding out of the pipe.
The 30 inch height suits horses 15 hands and taller, which sets the trough where a bigger horse can drink without dropping its head. For a shorter horse, use the 20 inch shroud, part 18744.
Fits the Classic Equine by Ritchie StallFount, heated part 18740 and unheated part 18748. Sold separately.
