Description

Zero-Bite is Pyranha's natural insect spray, built on geraniol with clove and peppermint oils rather than a synthetic insecticide. This is the 8 ounce flea and tick size, small enough to keep in the house, the tack trunk or the trailer.

It is labeled for horses and ponies, and also for dogs, cats, ferrets and other caged pets, so the same bottle works on the barn cat and the saddle horse. Because it is water based it is not oily or greasy, and it leaves a clean clove and peppermint scent behind.

On horses, brush the coat clean first, then apply as a light spray mist or with a moistened soft cloth, rubbing against the lay of the hair. Give extra attention to the legs, shoulders, shanks, neck and facial areas. Only a light application is needed, and the skin should not be wet. Around the eyes and muzzle, apply with a soft cloth rather than spraying.

On dogs, cats, ferrets and caged pets, start at the tail and work forward so the whole body is covered, legs and underbody included, ruffling the hair so the spray reaches the skin. Wet the coat thoroughly but do not saturate the animal, and keep it away from the eyes and face. It is not for animals under twelve weeks old. Check with your veterinarian before using it on an animal that is medicated, aged, debilitated, pregnant or nursing.

For premise use, spray infested areas, pet beds and resting quarters, along with nearby cracks and crevices, baseboards, moldings, window and door frames, and the floor and floor covering. Put down fresh bedding after treating.

Use only in accordance with the label directions and precautions.
