Stainless Steel Float Rod

Hoskins 6 in. float rod

A fully threaded stainless steel rod that joins the Bob valve to the float. Stainless matters here: the rod lives half in and half out of the water, which is exactly where a plated rod gives up.

Rod length is your water level

This is not a part to substitute. The rod length is what decides how high the tank fills, so a 6 in. rod in place of an 8 in. puts the water at the wrong height. The 6 in. rod belongs to the smaller sheep units, the SC22 and both SC32 models. From the SC48 up the line moves to the 8 in.

Specifications

Length: 6 in.

Material: stainless steel

Thread: full length

Which Hoskins units take it

Hoskins SC22-16

Hoskins SC32-16

Hoskins SC32-26

While you are in there

If the rod is coming out, look at the float and the valve at the same time.
